Social Media & Marketing Assistant

Developed and executed a multi-platform social media strategy across three Instagram accounts, LinkedIn and Pinterest while at Ashley Wilde. Launched new campaigns such as The Seasonal Edit, showcasing ready-made products and fabrics. Enhanced exisiting concepts like Moodboard Monday, showcasing the brand’s design-led side. Utilised my existing textile knowledge to craft campaigns that highlighted our products.


THE SEASONAL EDIT

Developed and executed The Seasonal Edit campaign for Spring that explored key interior and colour trends of the season and showcased how our products complemented these trends. As part of the campaign, I created engaging content for social media, including in-depth emails and articles, trend carousels, curated interior and colour trend highlights of our fabrics and products, and dedicated Moodboard Monday’s and Fabric of the Week’s.

MOODBOARD MONDAY

Improved existing Moodboard Monday campaign, by introducing creative content formats. Experimented with filming techniques, including timelapse videos of the moodboard creation process. I explored using both Reels and carousel formats to highlight details such as fabric choices, trimmings and colour schemes and added engaging captions with fabric mentions and tagged collaborating companies to boost reach and engagement. As a result, I increased campaign visibility, with the feature averaging 1,500 per post.


ASHLEY WILDE FABRICS

Launched and managed a dedicated Instagram account for Ashley Wilde Fabrics, creating a space focused solely on the company’s textile collections. I used insights from competitor reseach to inform the content strategy and creative direction of the account. I developed and executed the launch campaign including teaser posts, an introduction video and videos that showcased both the upcoming fabric collections and future brand direction.


12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS COMPETITION

Developed a festive 12 Days of Christmas competition series to promote Ashley Wilde’s brands during the holiday season. I coordinated collaborations with partner brands to contribute prizes for the giveaway series. I also designed and animated my own hand-drawn illustrations to create a visually rich campaign identity. As a result, this boosted brand visibility and creative campaign content.


75TH ANNIVERSARY CAMPAIGN

Developed and executed a year-long social media campaign to celebrated Ashley Wilde’s 75th Anniversary. Highlighted the company’s heritage and people through employee well-wishes, interviews with founders and a visual timeline of the brand’s history. I created engaging content around the key events of the year, including a summer party and the new fabric collection launches.
